FCS – All We Do Is Surf Campaign

Global Campaign for FCS.
FCS is a surf hardware company that created the worlds original detachable fin system. The brief was to show that they have a wider range of products than just the fins that they are so well respected for.
We shot as much of the still life composition as possible lining the photos up with an outline of a fin until it fitted perfect. Finishing touches in photoshop.

FCS Manufacturers Cup

Trophy design for the Australian FCS Manufacturers Cup run in partnership with Jim Beam. The Cup is put on as a gesture by FCS that they support the manufacturers that are at the heart and soul of the surf industry.

The design imitates the rawness of a shaping bay and the hand drawn style that a surfboard shaper uses everyday. The cups are etched into stainless steel and then printed black. Combined, this approach created a nice contrast between chic cup and the raw design.

Brooke Fraser – What To Do With Daylight

Brooke decided to re-release her first album in the USA with new artwork. After working with them on the branding for their record label (Wood and Bone) Scotty, Brooke’s Husband and creative director asked me to work with him on the design.

The style was derived from old Russian propaganda posters. The new art generated widespread hype on her website and had people from Aus and New Zealand scheming ways of getting their southern hemisphere mittens on it.

Misfit – Board Catalogue 2010

I have just recently put together the new catalogue for Misfit Shapes, a young surfboard shaping company on Sydney’s northern beaches.

Through working with the boys, we have seen the last six months in surfboard sales double! They are also the partner brand for Independent surf shop in Narrabeen called “The Sugarmill“.

In collaboration with the misfit shapes guys Aestheticpoetry has branded and launched a new concept store on Sydney’s northern beaches. FCS K-3 Campaign

The FCS K-3 Campaign was to launch their new fin for 9x world champion surfer Kelly Slater. The Campaign follows the ‘2 sides’ theme that is being run through all FCS marketing in 2010 . The campaign has been run all over the world including magazine Ads, billboards, in-store and online in France, America, Spain, Germany, Portugal, Australia and New Zealand.

Featured: double page spread in American magazine ‘Surfer’ 50th Anniversary issue and single page in Australia’s ‘Waves’.
